Four planes made the trip to Chino. Mike and Andy in a 172, Jeff in a
Piper
Archer, Chris in a 172RG and Jim, Jennifer and me in a 182RG.
After breakfast at the famous "Flo's" restaurant, we walked
to the
"Planes of Fame"
hanger and walked through an awesome display of
aircraft. Many of the war planes
are flying, and you can get rides in
them, if you want to use up $400-500 of your pocket change.
It was fun time. Chris', our webmaster, will be posting some pictures on his website below.
I'm not planning any Fly-In for July as I'll be gone to the Northwest
EAA Fly-In in Arlington,
WA from July 8th till around July 15th.
Anyone got any ideas for the August Fun Fly-In? Mike Gretton and me
talked about going
to the air museum by flying into March Air Force Base
(now decommisioned). Mike has
arranged for other Fly-Ins there, and if
he's in town to set it up, we just might do that. I'll keep
you posted.
Also, PLEASE RESPOND if you want to stay on this list. Because many
pilots have gone, changed
addresses or no longer care to make these
Fly-Ins, I'll be starting up a new list sometime the end of July.
