Subject: AWO UPDATE # 7
Hi Everyone,
We leave for Arlington (AWO) on July 8th. That's just 23 DAYS away.
These
two attachments should contain most of the info you'll need for AWO.
I've gotten a couple cancellations, so please check the AWO INFO
attachment for the latest updates to make sure we still have a room reserved
for you, and find out who's going, who's reserved a car, etc. I
believe
some rooms are still available in the motel we're staying at (address/phone
in AWO INFO) .
I reserved only two rooms at the Holiday Inn in Bend, Oregon (O70) on
July
8th because I don't know who is going to RON (Remain Overnight). So if
you're going to RON there, you need to reserve your own room(s) at the
Holiday Inn: 541-317-8500. I've also reserved a car from Enterprise. They'll
come out to O70 airport to pick me up and you're welcome to ride with me to
the motel.
Also, in the AWO ROUTE attachment, review the route and make
sure I've
included the changes in the route for scenic Fly-Bys you asked for.
Please contact me for any clarification on the AWO INFO or AWO ROUTE
attachments.
During our June 22 Fly-In at airport Camarillo (CMA), we can discuss
the
route(s) to AWO, en route meeting places, etc.
If you can't make the June 22 Fly-In at CMA this coming Sunday,
you can
always "catch up" later on what's going on. A few of us are
meeting at my
house on July 1st at 7:00 PM to review any changes on the routes to AWO, en
route meeting places, RONs, etc. If you'd like to stop over, let me know so
I can add more water to the cool-aide and give you directions to the house.
