Subject: Fullerton Fly-in

Well, it was a light turn-out for Fullerton on 16 September, with three airplanes and six breakfasteers - Jeff Picardi and Chris Braun in a Cardinal, Jerry Jackson, Cristoph Maier and Michael ? (sorrry, I didn't record his surname) in another Cardinal (the ugly yellow and red one), and Dennis Cullum in a Tomahawk. Missing were the three Cessna 337's, one of which would have brought Tony who was understandably absent in view of the sudden illness of his wife Delores.

The weather en route was absolutely perfect, and we all managed to find our way by different means to the airport, not easy to spot in the surrounding built-up area. The restuarant was quite satisfactory, standard breakfast fare with friendly service and no waiting for tables. As usual, the conversation was sparkling and laced with erudite witticisms. As a group, we wished Delores all the best for a quick and complete recovery.

It was decided that, since we didn't constitute a quorum, we would decide on the next venue by internet vote. My vote for October is for Rosamund with it's excellent Mexican brunch. Let me know your choice.

Keep 'em flying.
