Another great fly with fantastic CAVU weather for our 12/20 Fly-In to
Rosamond (L00). Nothing but a thin, high overcast all the way from SAN to
L00. THANKS to Russ Bade who took pictures.

Ten people in five planes made this Fly-In.

Flying from MYF was Jim Newport in a Sky Master. And out of SEE came Bert
& Russ Bade in a Great Lakes; Don MacManus & Rob Ridout in a Cherokee; Curt
Hardick & Denny Walker in a Bonanza; and Robert Werve, John Tassi & Tony Tex
in a Sky Master.

CHRIS CLABORNE: please put the above pics on our website.

The Golden Cantina restaurant lived up to it's reputation. Their big
buffet with a big spread of VERY GOOD Mexican food, not to mention eggs to
order to your style. Then if you could handle it, there was another table
with desserts. I can't believe anyone left hungry. More like stuffed. I seen
just about everyone go back up for seconds and even thirds.

Next Fly-In is NEXT YEAR on Jan 17 to Flabob (RIR).

If RIR is socked in, Calexico (CXL) will be our alternate.

My cell phone (619-997-4858) will be on until lift-off about 0845.

Best of clear skies & tailwinds,

Tony Tex
